IFIC Announces New Chair and Board of Directors for 2023-2024
September 13, 2023 (Toronto) – The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) is pleased to announce its board of directors for 2023-2024. At its annual meeting today, IFIC members elected Judy Goldring, President and Head of Global Distribution, AGF Investments, as chair of the board for a two-year term.
“I am proud to serve as the chair of IFIC’s board at this important time in our industry,” said Goldring. “Supporting the organization’s collaborative work will remain a top priority to advance key issues with representatives, regulators, governments and investor advocates to shape the investment funds industry for our investors and members.”
In addition, Duane Green, President and CEO, Franklin Templeton Canada, was elected vice-chair, and IFIC welcomed new board director Stephen Fiorelli, President and CEO, SVP Wealth Solutions, Canada Life Investment Management Ltd.
IFIC also released its Year in Review, which showcases key initiatives and milestones in advocacy, research, market intelligence and education in 2022-2023.
